U.S. Seizes Bitcoin Mining Machines Over AI Chip Concerns

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has expanded its crackdown on Bitcoin mining ASICs, seizing devices from MicroBT, Canaan, and Bitmain at the request of the FCC. Some firms have lost millions in seized equipment, and affected companies are considering legal action. With the crackdown widening, major mining hardware suppliers are struggling to navigate increasing regulatory scrutiny.
