In a move to boost tourism in the state, Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) cut down the prices of chartered buses. According to the reports, the concerned authorities have slashed the fare by 50 percent, aiming to encourage more private group bookings and optimise the use of KSRTC’s idle fleet.
According to the details, interested customers now hire a minibus for a four-hour journey, covering 40 kilometres for a reasonable fare of Rs 3500. While the ordinary bus would cost around Rs 3600. The customers will be charged an additional amount if they go for extra kilometres.
Chartered services Range
Chartered services by KSRTC allow customers to hire buses for private use, including school and college excursions, pilgrimage tours, wedding parties, employee transportation, and more. Interested customers can opt for the option of buses among both A/C, non-A/C, and sleeper variants. Prices of these vary as per the segment and kind of buses.

Offline Booking
- Visit your nearest KSRTC depot office
- Submit a charter request form with your route, dates, and bus type
