The leading carmaker Hyundai, has been putting efforts lately to dominate the electric segment. The company is poised to introduce multiple models in the coming months, out of which a new model named Ioniq 6 N has been revealed globally.
The curtains from the model have been removed at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. It is not known yet whether the company will bring this model to the Indian market or not.
Here’s What We Know So Far
This is the second performance offering from the brand under the electric segment after the Ioniq 5 N. The former is expected to be more futuristic and quicker as compared to the latter, and will be generating a maximum power of 650hp. It will be offered with an AWD powertrain.
Battery and Speed
The model will use N division EVs 84kWh battery setup. However, the Ioniq 6 will be treated with an extra element of a 7kWh coolant heater. It will bring the battery to its optimal operating temperature, allowing the drivers to use it to its full potential.
The EV is said to get new motor magnets, which can force it to go from 0-100kph in 3.2 seconds, 0.2 seconds quicker as compared to Ioniq 5 N. It will offer a top speed of up to 257 km/h.
Road Presence And Style
Aesthetically, the Ioniq 6 N will get an aggressive style statement, featuring wider wheel arches. Other notable differences between the N model and the standard Ioniq 6 include a slightly lowered front fascia, bigger grille at the front, N-specific winglets to make it cooler, a large rear spoiler for better aerodynamics.
It is also complemented by new-design 20-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres.
