Craig Doyle’s quiet life in pretty Irish county with wife Doon where homes fetch £365,000

Craig Doyle is a TV and radio presenter who has recently been appearing alongside Josie Gibson on ITV’s This Morning.

The presenter has become a regular relief presenter after first appearing on the show in 2021.

As well as This Morning, he is the main anchor on BT Sport Premiership, European Champions Cup rugby coverage, MotoGP motorcycle racing and a host of The NFL Show on ITV.

Sports lovers may also recognise him from his coverage of ITV’s Rugby World Cup.

The 53-year-old was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and previously earned a diploma in broadcast journalism from the London College of Printing.

Away from the screen, the presenter has a busy family life with his wife Doon and their four children.

Craig and his family live in County Wicklow in Ireland which is a region just south of Dublin.

The county is beautiful and is known for its mountains, country estates and coastline.

The county was named the most expensive in Ireland to buy a property, according to a report compiled by Geowox.

Last summer, data revealed that a median-priced home in Wicklow averaged €425,000 (£365,938).

The family home isn’t Craig’s only property, he also has a home in Kew, West London.

Kew is a beautiful and affluent part of Richmond upon Thames that is most famous for being the location of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

The residential area is expensive because it has good schools and transport links, attractive architecture and good restaurants.

Unsurprisingly, homes in Kew don’t come cheap and had an overall average price of £1,034,672 over the last year, according to Rightmove.

The majority of sales in Kew during the last year were flats, selling for an average price of £533,411.

Kew’s sold prices over the past year have increased by five percent over the prior year and eight percent over the peak of £958,992 in 2020.
