Juicy chicken burgers with all of the flavours of chicken caesar salad!

Burgers are one of my favourite summer time foods and I always enjoy fun burgers like these chicken caesar burgers! These burgers are inspired by a chicken caesar salad! The chicken patties contain many of the flavours in a caesar dressing including: parmesan, garlic, anchovy, worcestershire sauce, and dijon mustard. The burgers include romaine lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, even more parmesan, and caesar dressing. You can either cook the burgers outside on the grill, or you can pan grill them, pan fry them or even broil them. No matter how you cook them, they are super easy to make and perfect for any summer occasion!

Juicy chicken burgers with all of the flavours of chicken caesar salad!

ingredients
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs (or crouton crumbs) (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan), grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated/minced
  • 1 anchovy fillet, chopped/minced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 bus/rolls (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked (optional)
  • 1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan), shaved
  • 1/4 cup caesar dressing
directions
  1. Mix the chicken, breadcrumbs, garlic, anchovy, worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, salt and pepper, and form 4 patties.
  2. Cook the patties by grilling, or pan frying, or broiling, until cooked through, about 3-5 minutes per side.
  3. Assemble the burgers with the buns, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, parmesan, and caesar dressing and enjoy!

Note: Omit the breadcrumbs if desired.
Option: Add 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest to the burgers!
