With this launch, ThunderPlus has crossed a major milestone—now operating over 200 hubs across the country.

ThunderPlus, India’s fastest-growing EV charging company, has launched a brand-new ultra-fast charging station at Necklace Road, Hyderabad.

The station was set up in partnership with South Central Railway and is designed to serve key areas like Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, and Secunderabad.

Why Is This Launch Important?

With this new addition, ThunderPlus now operates over 200 EV charging hubs across India, powering more than 4,000 electric vehicles every day. These stations together deliver over 10 MWh of energy daily, helping reduce 35 metric tons of CO₂ emissions every single day.

What Makes This Station Special?

The new charging hub comes with high-end features like:

  • 120 kW ultra-fast charging bays, scalable to 480 kW
  • Smart load-sharing technology
  • 24×7 uptime with digital monitoring

It’s part of ThunderPlus’s larger vision to create a smart, reliable, and sustainable EV ecosystem in India.

Who Attended the Launch?

The event saw participation from top ThunderPlus officials, public sector leaders, and partners.

Other notable attendees included Sri Vishal Arjun from the Ministry of Railways and Mr Arvind Kompelli, a franchise partner.

Sri. Vishal Arjun, Divisional Commercial Manager, Secunderabad Division, Ministry of Railways, praised ThunderPlus’s execution “Our successful engagement with ThunderPlus at the Hitec City MMTS station with usage exceeding 5 hours/day convinced us of their operational and commercial capability.”
