PVR INOX to screen IPL matches on the big screen

PVR INOX Ltd, leading cinema exhibitor, on Saturday said it has inked an exclusive collaboration with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI),to  screen IPL matches live in its state-of-the-art cinemas across India. It said the matches will be screened in select cinemas in over 30 cities . 

“Starting from March 22nd, the screenings will commence with the grand opening ceremony, followed by weekend matches and playoffs, offering fans an unparalleled viewing experience. The initiative seamlessly blends cricket and cinema, giving audiences the thrill of a stadium-like atmosphere with world-class visuals, sound, plush seating, and gourmet food combos—all within the comfort of a cinema hall,” the company said in a statement.

IPL 2025

“PVR INOX is bringing the thrill of IPL 2025 to the big screen with weekend screenings across a wide network of cinemas. Covering major metropolitan areas as well as Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, this initiative ensures cricket fans across India can experience the excitement of live matches in a larger-than-life setting,” it added. 

The cities include Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Anand, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Guwahati, Udaipur, Gurgaon , Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Trivandrum among others.
