Here’s an amazing opportunity to grab yourself a load of new Steam Deck games without spending a huge amount of money, as the November Humble Choice games are now out. This time there are eight new titles up for grabs, seven of which are ideal for playing on the deck, and you can get them all for just $11.99, saving you a massive $187.93 over buying the games individually.
If you’re a proud owner of the best handheld gaming PC right now, then a monthly subscription to Humble Choice offers you an easy way to get a regular drop of new games that work great on the Steam Deck, and you can cancel at any time as well. Not only that, but if you cancel, the games are still yours to own forever.
Each month’s new Humble Choice game selection is unveiled on the first Tuesday of every month, giving you eight new games that span a variety of genres and sizes, from deck builders and puzzle games to RPGs and first-person shooters. This month (November 2024) sees the following games being added to the service:
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide – 84% positive – Steam Deck Unsupported
- Persona 4 Golden – 97% positive – Steam Deck Verified
- The Lamplighters League – 88% positive – Steam Deck Verified
- Cassette Beasts – 96% positive – Steam Deck Verified
- The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales – 93% positive – Steam Deck Playable
- Karma Zoo – 90% positive – Steam Deck Verified
- Hexarchy – 83% positive – Steam Deck Playable
- Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator – 79% positive – Steam Deck Playable
If you were to buy all these games individually at their current MSRP, the total cost would come to $199.92, so you can save yourself a massive $187.93 with this bundle.
The headline game here is Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, which is officially unsupported on the Steam Deck but is a great addition to your PC’s Steam collection for this low price. This gothic sci-fi shooter sees the Left 4 Dead formula applied to the Warhammer 40K world, where four players can play cooperatively against the forces of Chaos.
Our personal favorite of the batch, though, is Persona 4 Golden, which is Steam Deck Verified and has a 97% positive rating on Steam. Laying the groundwork for Persona 5 and Metaphor ReFantazio’s success, P4 remains a delightful JRPG adventure, hopping between cozy rural school life and stylish shadow-world dungeon diving. Hexarchy is good fun too, slamming Slay the Spire-style deck building into Civilization and squeezing matches down to a tight 60 minutes.
Meanwhile, KarmaZoo is a sweet co-op platformer that focuses on teamwork above all, forcing you to stay with your teammates the whole time and rescue them when they’re in danger, using a variety of animalistic abilities to help one another.
